OLOL ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
Please join us for the annual Our Lady of Lourdes golf tournament to be held on Friday afternoon, Oct. 20. It’s a great way to meet many of your fellow parishioners as well to help raise money for St. Vincent DePaul. Cost is $100 per golfer which includes lunch, refreshments, and the always spectacular after-party. (For spouses and significant others who will only attend the after party, the cost is $20). Lunch and Registration are at 11:30 a.m., Shot gun start at 12:30, party at 6:30 p.m.

The RCIA process is a journey that will help you come to understand what Jesus has in mind for you within the context of the Catholic Faith. A new RCIA class is forming. FALL FAMILY BBQ | EVERYONE IS WELCOME
Everyone in the parish is invited to attend the annual Fall Family Barbecue sponsored by the Athletic Association on Friday, September 15, 2017—5:30-8:30. Dinner and music will be from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Come and catch up with friends as we begin the new school year. Dinner reservation forms can be found at church entrances. All women of the parish are invited to learn about Ignatian Spirituality and a way to deepen their relationship with God by participating in our women’s Manresa groups. One group meets every third Friday morning in the Parish Center at 7:15-8:30 a.m. (the first meeting will be on September 15) and the other group meets every third Monday evening at 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. (the first meeting will be on September 18) in the Parish Center. Cornerstone Bible Study to Begin September 21st!
Have you ever tried to read the Bible on your own and became confused at times or lost interest? Do you need some (B)asic (I)nstruction (B)efore (L)eaving) (E)arth)? Please join The Cornerstone Catholic Scripture Study, a Catholic Bible study group that will lead you on a faith journey that can transform your heart and mind. This year, join us as we study the Gospel according to John and see how John reveals the glory and divinity of God’s only son, Jesus the Messiah. There are two study groups which meet at two locations. September 23, 2017, Saint Louis University will launch 14 months of bicentennial celebrations with a Mass and family activities under the Gateway Arch. Missouri Catholic Conference 50th Anniversary
Celebrate 50 years of the Missouri Catholic Conference (MCC) on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Jefferson City. This free event is sponsored by the Missouri Bishops and everyone is invited. The event includes an address by Papal Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, Archbishop Christophe Pierre. Workshops with a focus on Catholic education, pro-life, and social justice will be offered. A hot, free lunch is provided, and the day will end with a Mass concelebrated by the bishops. Looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity?
Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis is opening its fourth St. Louis-area Family Room and is in need of volunteers. The new room will open on the third floor of the new tower in St. Louis Children’s Hospital later this year and is anticipated to serve 5,000 families per year. RMHC is currently accepting applications for those interested in volunteering in a Ronald McDonald Family Room. Volunteers should commit to, at minimum, three-hour shifts per month.
