OUR LADY OF LOURDES OFFERS
RECOGNITION AND ACHIEVEMENT TEST SCORES
Our Lady of Lourdes School certainly provides a strong curriculum—one that challenges students from kindergarten through eighth grade. We see the results of the high academic standards as our students consistently score above national and Archdiocesan averages on the Iowa Test of Basic Skill (ITBS) each year. We see the results as our eighth graders are consistently accepted into high schools of choice and make an easy transition from elementary school into high school.
Our Lady of Lourdes follows the policies of the Archdiocese of St. Louis; Acceptance of registration is handled by the Principal in consultation with the Pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes. Please contact the school office for more information regarding admission to Lourdes, 314.726.3352.
The purpose of a dress code, as with all school policies, is to create a learning climate in the school, which will foster self-esteem, self-discipline, and a sense of responsibility in each student. A dress code also gives a school a sense of identity and thereby promotes school pride as well as personal pride. Click here to see the 2016-17 Uniform Code.
The School Board determines tuition rates for the followings school year and these rates are then approved by the Pastor and Finance Committee. Tuition may be paid in full in August or paid over a ten month period from August through May. Both quality of education and accessibility for all parishioners remain a high priority. Financial assistance is available for any school family. Application is made through the FACTS Grant and Aid Program; please call our parish pastor for more information. Any and all calls remain confidential.
